nice write up Adam....that blue R turbo that was tested by R&T, was it the Nardo package ? What did the R&T guys think of it ?

Does Alois Ruf plan on anything with the 997 platform ?

 

Yes it was the Nardo, they thought it was unbelievable, the review should be out for june?

Wow! Very lucky young man Adam. Thanks so much for sharing your family's experience. I would love to visit the Ruf Factory some day.....of course I would love it more if it also intailed picking up a CTR. Wow! The video copy I ordered from Ruf of the CTR storming along the Ring has got to be my fave Porsche video I own....and I should make a copy of it as to always insure I have it. Wow!

Yes my mum drives the R as one of her daily drivers, and yesterday she hit 182mph,

I am not sure of the engine spec

But the interior was alcantara and in a beautiful blue, absolutely stunning, i could get mor epics of the interior at the weekend if you wanted?

I've been in that car!! It belongs to a close friend of mine and it's got an engine spec that's higher then the Nardo package. It's seriously fast, the owner also has a yellow CTR and a silver CTR2 aming other cars. Serious RUF enthusiast..

 

In the white one? That car has only just been finished and has yet to be shipped, though i think i may know the car you are referring to,

In late 02 RUF made an r turbo in white with the royal blue interior for a very special customer, is that the same one?
