Gt2 front vent

What do you have to do to remove that vent? I am going to replace it with one made of carbon fiber.

The correct way is to remove the bumper to get at all the screws...
If you want to cheat cut the OEM plastic piece out with a side cutter and then install the carbon piece, either way it's kind of a PITA
I will attach a pic of my GT2 with the carbon installed tonight

It is best to remove the bumper skin to do it properly. I installed my Techart bumper...not too bad if you have a lift to use.

Will jack stands do the job if you don't have a lift?

If you are not removing the bumper you will not need a lift...everything is done from the top

You don't need a lift to remove the bumper. I did mine on my garage floor. 20min job.

Actually, you guys are right about not needing a lift. When I did my install, I had to remove the fender linings and underbody plastic cover. Since you are only removing the front skin, it should be a lot easier.

Could you please shed some light into how you can swap the front diffuser vent on the GT2 in such a short time. Inquiring minds want to know.

Thanks
