Broken Floor Mats?

Well yes, The Velcro attachments that screw down into the carpet have pulled out. What this means is my floor mat moves around and slides up on the pedals, very bad.

Anyone else have this issue? Any fixes? I tried wrapping tape around the screws and putting them back down but this didn't make for a long term solution. I don't want to stop using the floor mats because then the carpet takes a beating.

I sure would appreciate any input on this.

Oh, my car is a '02 996tt.

Thanks,

John

Seriously, they are POS mats...mine feel apart in the first 200 miles. Get the Lloyds mats...they have a better mechanism for holding in place (tehy hook to the seat rails).

POS is a understatement, for the money we spend we should not get crap like this. Would you a line on where to get the Lloyd's?

Thanks!!

You can just move the floormat anchors a little bit away from the old hole, this happens all of the time.

Ya, I thought about making a second set of holes in the carpet, then a third, then a fourth....at the rate of failure I will have one ugly assed carpet soon.

I like the JB Weld solution...LOL

Thanks WROSS996tt
