They dont look to fast to me

 

they make over 500chp on race gas...

 

actually in the first vid, the car had race gas in it but it didn't have the race gas file loaded. after he loaded it, it was much closer.

Yea, I was going to say...that first race had to be a pump gas file You CRUSHED him!

 

there is a guy over at audizine.com who is pushing over 500awhp in an avant (wagon). He still drives the car everyday also. Talk about the ultimate grocery getter.

 

I've got a S4 Avant as my daily driver as well. I put down 434whp at EPL's dyno in CT. This is before I got a custom tune, larger Fuel Injectors and a larger MAF. I'm hoping to get closer to 450-460WHP now. The S4's can be made to be very very fast just not when compared to modified 996TT's. I tell people ... there's no replacement for displacement...

 

yeap that would be Jackson. His car is crazy fast. He pulls on c6 zo6s and 997tts. Can you imagine the peoples faces when they realize they have just been beat by a station wagon

 

You are right. My S4 can beat my stock 996TT now, but If I get a similar set up as any one of you or even 996TT stage one chip. I think my S4 will become distance follower. That is why I got one 996TT like you.

 

I know Jackson quite well but don't think his car is anywhere close to 500WHP. Even with race fuel (which he does love to use...) That being said his kill list is very impressive and he certainly does like to live fast and FURIOUS!

 

thanks for the clarification Al I'd say it's in the 425-450 AWHP range with a wheel Torque of about 450. So depending what conversion used and which Dyno....I'd say in the 525-550'ish CHP range on racefuel. I still think with Stage 3 S4's though.....it is their Curve and Power "under the curve" down low and midrange that makes them formidable. Like one very well respected S4 member has said...."K04s make power pretty much everywhere"....not just "peak power". As far as fast and Furious.....i'd say "Only in Cali" where it's straight and wide (as it would never happen back in good Ol' Jersey and NYC). Remember, I never got out of 2nd gear back there

 

don't undereastimate your AWE Stage 3 S4. It can definitely still be neck and neck or even edge out your 996TT, even when chipped. Whereabouts in TW are you...TP? I'll be back there in a couple of months....can't wait for the hot and muggy weather

We still need to meet up As far as a stg 3 S4 edging out a 996TT with ECU hell no... You know from my experiences in my friends M3 and stg2+ S4's, meanwhile the stg 3's were pulling who were with us but not even in the same realm as a stock 996TT, weird
