Well, i made the investment into the hybrid turbos from evoms in their gt640 stage. Unreal, theres no delay in power. Full boost at around 3k rpm, Rendering 1st gear pointless ( in a sense ) as its immediately maxed out. Dynoed it was running as told, 580 to the wheels, dynometer, with a Ruf 550 quiet exhaust ( holding me back 35hp compared to the europipe ii quiet i had tried as well ) So, i am running quiet power, but it still a perfect balance of exhaust note for this car. Anyway if you have some extra $$$ laying around, go for it. Just my opinion !!!

Welcome to the GT640 club. I had the same problem. Had the Stage 4 and wasn't quite happy with the power. The GT640 kit is great but now my **** is feeling numb to it.

Next move GT700 & beyond, Truth is I don't think you can ever be satisfied with what you have, as soon as the "WOW" wears off it's on to "WHATS NEXT"!!

If you are going to track stay away from the PSS9's and get the KW's. PSS9's have a known problem of hitting the bumpstops if the car is also lowered and driven hard on the track.

Hey Dean let me know how the KW setup works for you. JIC system is okay but could be a bit stiffer IMO.

I think to be cautious is the best way to make decision since the weather and road condition in here is extremely hot, humid & harsh almost all year round. Moreover, there is not a certifited or qualilfied shop that is capable of repairing our complex car even no one execept dealer has Porsche's special tool to take apart our engine. Moreover, Porsche dealer of Taiwan so far has no experience as to disassemble 996TT engine at all. Unlike in the state, especially in Seattle, the weather is so nice and the avg temp is just around 70~75 F and the road is clean and flat without too many pot holes. And a lot of good shops & Porsche professionals are around the country. Therefore, I have to do some serious HW before making decision. If I were still in Seattle I would have done all the mod at least 700 whp to my car without worring this or that Hopefully, soon I can revisit Pacific NW again by the time we may be able to talk in person. Thank you for advice anyway!
