Well, good

I may do the same as well, not soon...

By the way, Don has an awesome and improved product at reasonable price!

my concern with the hose replacement and removal of the stock ridgid piping is when the hose breaks down. seems like it will eventually fail due to engine heat exposure and impinging (and or wear from abrading) on the hose. there a reason why it's engineered with rigid piping back there. also from what info I can gather is the hose is just sitting there on the engine with no mounts.

let me know if there is any, I mean any type of hose contact with the firewall engine etcc... I have no doubt it will make power, I'm just don't want to deal with it when it fails. doesn't look like it will be fun if you have to try and run down a small leak.

Agree with a couple of points, the heat concerned me, but Don has assured me that the hose is heat resistant, don't think it will wear because of the flexability. The other thing that concerned me was the mounting of the Alloy piece, there is no mount onto the side of the engine, it just floats and is held in place with the filter and 2 hoses connected to it! I will say it is very, very light so it might be ok and it is the same as the FVD one so it must work!
