We eliminated the splitter. Our throttle body connects directly to our intake. It also makes for a good nitrous mixing plenum.

Ah! Tried to install last night with a friend, then gave up, just to tight no space in the Tippy (even phoned the Sharkster, thanks mate!) Just didn't want to risk missing SPA. Will do when I return.

BTW I have posted a pic and video on Off Topic forum, seriously have a look if you haven't yet, talk about a car getting air!

Sorry to dig this one up but Don or anyone who has done this: How are you guys getting the rear intake plenum (circled in red) out of the car? My motor is down approx 5 inches and I've sawzalled it into 2 pieces but still can't get it out of the car. Does it snake down and out underneath the car or are you bringing it over the motor by the fuel filter area? Do I need to do a full motor drop? Thanks!

You should be able to snake it through the opening if you take out the fuel filter with the motor dropped down a bit.

you have lower the engine and it lays down on the alutraverse ? If yes remove the fuelfilter and make space in this area....no DV, Fuelfilter and other parts in this area. If you cut the splitter high enough you can remove it on top of the engine, it is a little tricky.....

if yoú have a tip it could be much more difficult......
