When does the 997GT2 come out anyways?

Wes, I've seen a burnt orange 997tt...actually I think I saw it on here. I thought it was a bit too dark though. Would love to hear your opinion.

Marty, it was never for sale, and if I did advertise it, I wouldn't have listed it on 6spd....everyone is too cheap around here!

Dean, it debuts at the Frankfurt show this September and I'm hearing spring 08 from my dealer. They are meeting with Porsche NA on June 11th to learn about the 08 models and I should be able to officially order it after that meeting with a more precise delivery date.

 

The color we use is orange / copper. In the highlights and under the right light it really glows. It's quite a bit different than the one you are speaking of which I believe was more like the 350z Color. In the light it seems to dull or look more brown than orange.



Here you can see the "yellow gold" highlights. I think it would look mean on a GT2.

Jamie, the burnt orange color you were refering to, was it this? If so, I think it is Porsche's Nordic Gold Metallic. It gets my vote for your 997 GT2, oh and don't forget to spill the beans if you hear any specs on the new GT2 from your dealer.
