Sold my GT2 :(
Sold my GT2 :(
Hey guys,
Just a heads-up.....I sold my GT2 this past weekend to a young guy down in Columbus, OH. Although I wasn't planning on selling it, we have been talking about doing a deal like this for over a month or so and since the numbers worked out, I ended up agreeing to sell it. The guy who bought it also ironically bought my previous Supra last year....which I took back in partial trade....and hence, why it's up for sale too at a killer price.
Although I put less than 1000 miles on it, I really enjoyed the car. Thank you Protomotive for the excellent work you did! It was exactly what I expected and performed flawlessly from day one. Although it doesn't appear the new owner will be quite as aggressive with it as I was
, I'm sure he'll enjoy it too.
I also want to thank Tym Switzer of Switzer Performance out of Oberlin, OH who put on a killer prototype JUN BL exhaust he manufactured. He is working closely with Todd on some exciting future developments, so if anyone needs local Ohio service, he can not be beat. He really knows his stuff and his fab work is unmatched by anyone on this board.
So the good news is I'm on the #1 spot at a large local dealer for a 997 GT2. I can guarantee you it won't have much more than delivery miles on it before the motor is out. So stayed tuned
So I'm thinking orange for the 997....what do you all think?

You have got to be ****ting me! After all the work and waiting? Madness I say. You never even tracked it although you did get a fair amount of good highway racing in. I also am curious about the price.
I'll give you my top secret color code for the 997 GT2
I heard you made out QUITE god on the deal
I'm sure you'll find something between to keep you busy, especially with your new Supra almost complete.
