why so few 18" wheels for turbo/C4S?
why so few 18" wheels for turbo/C4S?
I am looking to replace my stock turbo-look wheels, but have found that most of the wheels I like are not available to fit my car. The BBS LM does not fit, then Champion monolite titanium is only available in the 19" and even most of Porsches' own sport classic wheels do not fit.
I hate to upgrade to 19" since my 18" Michelin Pilot ribs are brand new.
TireRack only lists one wheel
I guess it comes down to HRE, Kenesis or Fikse

This is 19 but they have them available in 18"
sorry buddy, but you obviously haven't done your homework.
Cargraphic makes a forged center 18" wheel that weighs 17lb. front/ 19lb. rear in GT2 sizes, so it may be even lighter for the Turbo.
You can also get BBS Motorsports 3 piece mesh wheels which are also extremely light.
I would take the BBS Motorsports over HRE, Kinesis, or Fikse ALL DAY LONG. Form follows function, not the other way around.

Where can I get some info on the BBS Motorsports 3 piece mesh wheels you referred to? Are these custom made magnesium wheels where you have to order like 5 sets at a time?

I have quite a few wheels available. I have a clearance on some 9ff forged center lock wheels that are designed specifically for the turbo, or 4s. Very lightweight, 21lbs, and 22lbs front and rear. I also have some 3 piece wheels if that is more the look you are going for. Much quicker turnaround than HRE or Fikse but same quality, forged, titanium fastners, ect. Here are some pics.
