Jean, you know that I have to razz you I (as much as I hate to say it) have a great deal of respect for you and your interpration of data, HP, etc..

As far as the congratulation thing goes, it just seems that (and this is MY opinion) the congrats is nothing more than a way to discredit the accomplishments with criticisms while still remaining "a nice guy"...ala, hey I know I said that the car has (lightweight/unlimited resources, take your pick) but I still said nice job, so the 1 nice thing I said makes it all OK.

scott well said !!!! and i dint see anywhere where mark was beeing disrespectfull . and people jumping on him saying that hes hating is evry funny , when fact is that he never once in his posts .. hated on anyone ever . and is humble in his ways and helps everyone out to as much as he can trust me , i know ... good to see the evo ms nutthuggers sticking together , that 9 second pass though will soon be a thing of the past , mark my words ...

 

I cried a few times on the fone with KPG telling him how much it hurts to see my car get beat up like that.... I even told him recently that I just can't keep doing this because bad things will happen... it's just a matter of time.
If I am able to continue financing my project without really hurting the car in the quest for 9s I will be surprised...
That's why it is hard for an idividual like I do do it all by myself.

Upon reflection, it strikes me that my comments regarding the weight of Mark's car, written in the thread regarding one of Mark's blazing fast runs, may have be perceived as taking something away from Mark's impressive accomplishments. That was certainly not my intent, but some of the foregoing comments suggest that that was the perception. Mark, I apologize.

Regarding the 'tuner car' reference, it struck me and others as implicitly diminishing the significance of EVOMS' accomplishment. I accept Mark's statement that he had no such intent and, to the extent that I read more into the reference than was intended, I apologize.

Regarding Unvmym3's post, he has established himself as complete tool and I will decline to respond.
