its amazing to realize (at least for me) how ugly our stock headlights are and how much better you can make them...

He can paint them any color, even match a colored car like guards red insides.

Put them on the car!! Put them on the car!! (Sorry, too much coffee this morning)...

Wow they look great! I can't wait to see them on the car and then send mine out. It's ridiculous how much nicer they look (IMO) modified like yours. Your car is already beautiful and it is going to look that much better. I'll definitely have mine done like yours. Any idea when he will be accepting lights for the mod? Thanks again for posting and keeping us up to date.

I bet a lot more people will be into 996's since we are able to address the headlight issue.

I think this is one of the main reasons people dis this model

tw, i agree. I love my car but I always think that the headlights could be improved and this mod would bring them close to what I like without being over the top.

^ The tails in all red look HUGE, and the tails already look huge as they are. I would say you should consider just smoking the clear and leaving the red as is. It will look even better on your car since its black. And of course those front headlights as posted, your Turbo would look mean.

my tail lights were smoked on top and the red remained. It looked very mean. With the fronts painted it would have looked sick!!

I went out and put saran wrap on the tail lighs and painted them all red then did the other one with smoke on the clear part and the smoke on the clear looked the best by far. Done deal.
