Just a reminder to all South Florida Porsche owners that as customary on the second Saturday of every month the South Beach Breakfast Club will be meeting at 6:30 AM at the Krispy Kreme parking lot on Federal between Oakland Park and Sunrise. From there we will head down to South Beach for breakfast...the ride down to SoBe is allot of fun... Please let me know if you're coming...See you there!!!

 

Why wouldn't you just eat Krispy Kremes?

 

I get it but we like the "driving" part and it builds up our appetites "spirited" driving will do that to ya....

ESK, you sound like you have not been to SoBeach. You need to go. I don't think the women there have ever seen a Krispy Kreme, let alone gotten one near their mouth.
Our breakfast club in NC mountains has to meet at a similar time otherwise too much traffic gets in the way of spirited driving. Too bad when we come down for RenSR II, SoBe is so far away.

 

For some reason I remember some spirited driving up to Orlando and that was in the middle of the day....

 

Quite the contrary. I happen to own a place in Miami and eat dinner over at beach nearly every night when I'm there. You obviously missed the humor in my Krispy Kreme comment.

 

I used to spend a lot of time at the Ocean Reef Club and we would go to the Grove before the beach became popular again. Sorry, I missed the humor in the doughnut comment. Since you have a place there, when is the 6speed party in Miami?

We did try it at 9:00 AM at first and a couple of times after that but as James said the traffic was horrible from Ft. Lauderdale to SoBe, however I talked it over with the other guys and next time around we will be meeting probably at 8:00-8:30 AM....we look forward to seeing next month...if you like maybe you can meet us tomorrow at News Cafe on Ocean Drive circa 8:15-8:30 AM. We want to make it convinient for anyone who would like to join so if you've any suggestions please let us know.

 

Post it as a group event for next month with everyone meeting at News Cafe at say 9:00-9:30 and I bet we can get 6 new guys to join you!
