Quick wheels question

As you guys know I just ordered my 545R HRE wheels. I have one quick question for you guys. I had to chose about useing stock configuration or somthing else. I believe the terms he used were Chonical or Ball (not sure). If anyone knows what I am talking about please let me know which ones I should choose, last I left it, he was going to leave it factory and not have to cut anything?? I am really confused and its not helping that I don't remember exactly what he was talking about .
Hopefully someone on here will have a better idea of what I am talking about then I do .
Thanks,
Evan

hmmm, is he talking about the inside of the lugbolt holes, at the bottom of the hole where the bolt washer seats against the rim?

"Ball" would be the shape of the stock bolt washer. "conical" could be some other bolts? If that is the case, i think staying with factory would be the right choice.

But, I have no idea what I am talking about..

Also, what are you doing regarding the centercap?

Conical or ball seats

All Porsche o.e.m. wheels have a ball seat. The surface where the lug nut or lug bolt fits into, is milled like a round cup where the cone shape is just milled into a cone shape to fit cone shaped nuts or bolts. They will not be interchangeable.

You are exactly right that is what he was talking about the lugbolt holes. Yes factory is ball, or he said they would to conical and they would cut somthing to change them.

I am just doing the black/silver HRE caps (yea I am cheap ). I maybe eventually do somthing else, but for now thats what I did.
