UMW/Kevins wastegate kit. Any thoughts?

Hello, Im fairly new to the porsche community and recently purchased an 02 seal gray 996 w/x50 package w/15k miles. Previous car was 03 M3 which i still own. As soon as i got it the mods began. ( Its bad disease.lol)
I have UMV 1.2 bar program(love it)
psi loud exhaust
bmc air filter
dv's coming soon

Im a little nervouse about grinding the stock wastegates. Can anyone share their experience with this kit? I have learned alot on this forum and love it. Still learning though! Thanks again.

Kevin is a a very knowledgable guy.,.. I had his stage 5 turbos with upgraded springs.... Upgraded springs are a good cheap add on...

I did that mod and it is real easy. If you have a cheapo Dremel type grinder you can have it done in 20-30 minutes and it will be well worth the effort. It will firm up your middle end tq since the WG's are not being pushed open by the exhaust gas. The stock springs are barely good enough for stock boost levels. Great bang for the buck with this mod, not just on Kevin's cars but on any car especially k24's. Kevin G

With Kevin's kit you take the stock WG actuators and grind off the crimp seal on the 2 halves. Then take a custom spring and put it back inplace of the stock. The actuator is then sealed with stainless steel rings and screws and renounted. Kevin G

You can remove the wastgate and send it to Kevin to install the springs for you.

I'd advise it then ...so they can get some real turbos in there sooner...rather than later!
