X50 Tranny diff?

I see a lot of post with guys upgrading their transmissions when they mod their cars... Is the '03 X50 tranny different than standard TT? When does the HP become to much???

It is the same -- and essentially the same as GT2. There is not too much chance of "to much" HP-- refer other current threads. Cars are running twice list HP with original trans. The "to much" part probably puts the load thru the whole system( axles/CV's) before trans has opportunity to be affected. Continuos track use would be the time for a trans re think.
