Please help me identify this exhaust...

Can you guys please help me identify this exhaust? Any idea of how much it's worth? Or rather, what would you pay for it? The design looks very strange... only 1 pipe into the muffler?????

Thanks!

Reminds me of the B&B exhaust for Vette's. Could possibly be an older design B&B exhaust.

not sure but I am sure you could get 1K for pretty much any exhaust for the 996TT.

How in the world would the mufflers provide any sound deadening? I don't see how that would work without an input and output from the muffler...

The only thing I see providing any function is the CATS.

Tell me how these would provide anything other than CATS into straight pipes with a muffler hanging off the end - I just don't see it...

It is a B&B exhaust. When I originally bought my car, I had it on.....and it is LOUD and resonated bad!!! I requested a stock exhaust since I didn't want to **** my entire neighborhood off. From what I remember from posting the same question over 3 years ago, that exhaust had lots of problems (IIRC someone had their bumper melt), and was not popular.

Thanks... it's at a local wreck yard so I figured I would at least ask. Thanks to everyone for helping out.

Now if it dirt cheap and you want something loud like straight pipes, it may be worth it. If not...buy those tips from them....they still get a premium.

I think it is a very old B&B system. Nobody likes it. It's trash. Loud as hell.

Hilarious...the muffler wouldn't even get anything...It's a straight pipe with a muffler for looks? It looks like the filter for a hand sander

I have a Remus and am very much pleased with it. I had the Fabspeed "no drone" before that but found the Remus much more manageable for daily driving.

acutally, the first exhaust is a older B&B gt exhaust and THE BEST exhaust I have ever used...PERIOD...it retails for around 3600 new and has ZERO and I MEAN ZERO drone...but straightpipe sounds...mine is gutted and there is no exaust on a 996tt I have EVER heard that sounds better...these are straightpipes without the drone...YOU WILL LOVE THEM!!!!!
