Not sure where I should have posted this, but I'm a member of a few other message boards and most of them have "Sub-forums" with regional sections so all the members of the same forum can easily communicate abouyt shops, meets, etc. I always wondered why 6speed, being such a well known, large, and diverse community never had this. I think it would be a good idea for some of the members to be able to communicate easier, meet up, etc. Hopefully a moderater reads this and maybe we can get some regional forums going....Just a suggestion, let me know what you guys think!

yea i think it would be good, organize local meets with all different types of cars, meet alot of guys on here, network, talk about shops, have a few laughs, it'd be nice

 

The problem I always have is I only look in 1 or 2 forums..I never go to the regionals...no action..so it would just sit there.

 

I'm a member on e46fanatics.com also and there is a regional forum there and its great I've met alot of cool people thru it and alot of useful information. Alot of local guys always offer to help work on cars and things like that and its easier to see who might be willing to help and things of that nature thru a regional forum, just because one perosn might not go to the regional forums doesn't mean others won't (not trying to be mean, or disrespectful at all so please dont take it that way I know the internet can make people sound fifferent than they intend)

 

I feel fifferent...not sure what that is...but just look at the hits on the regionals...say renntech for example..but as you say don't look at my vote....I just won't be there...who cares?

 

Sounds like a great idea. I'd love to see some regional forums.

regional forums are a good idea, most forums have them.

Even if some people won't use it, its there for the people who would like it

 

I would think it would be quite popular given the amount of gatherings and events we all try to imform eachother about. It would make it so much easier to be able to seach by region.
