I noticed that Iforged and HRE look identical. Since they look identical, why not buy the Iforged they are less expensive.
See any similarities between these two:
I-Forged Aero
HRE 545R
They look almost exactly alike.

They are not the same, and to me at least, they do not look very much alike, other than being a multipiece 5 spoke and Iforgery's copy of the HRE logo. Search the internet on Iforged and quite a few complaints on various webforums throughout the car world will pop up. You will change your mind very quickly about buying them. They are a very shady company.

If I may share my opinion, the wheels do look similar except the Iforged offers 7 bolts between spokes and the HREs offers 6. The major difference is service. HRE offers better service than Iforged. Ask many who've orderd from Iforge and you should understand what I am saying. Both are nice wheels BUT neither have been proven on the track nor in a race.
I didn't know they had such a bad rap. Its not like they are cheap by any means, just a little less than HRE's. **** if I were in the market for Hre or I-forged wheels, I would definately pay up for the better servcie

HRE quality is not far from iforged. to me, HRE just has better brand image than other wheel company. i've been to the supplier of HRE wheel. i do see lots ''other'' wheel, that says, HRE uses those suppliers to make the wheel too. one thing they did it right though, the advertisement is been good to make everyone think they are so good.
i used to think iforged is bad just because i've heard people say that, but when i actually see the finish on the wheel compare to HRE i can't tell the difference. u figured, they might be made by the same company too
i totally agree with wantone. Both are nice wheels BUT neither have been proven on the track nor in a race. IMO, HRE is way overpriced... but people still buy it even they bent like crazy... well, it's not my money, but spend wisely

Here's what i hear from an insider at Iforged.
the reason for the bad service (ex long waits) was that the owner of Iforged didn't have enough money to keep making the wheels.
I've also been told that Hre may be buying over Iforged. The quality isn't that bad and is very similar to hre especially since practically all multipiece forged aluminum wheels(faces) are machined and every wheel company gets the drums/barrels from the same place.

I guess I'll go ahead and chime in here... I have 19" Iforged Senekas, and when I first got them, hated them because of the condition they were in. I bought them used, sight unseen. The clearcoat was either cloudy or peeling, the wheels themselves were leaking air somewhere, and they weren't hubcentric. FVD pretty much fixed the first two problems, and Zotz here in Orlando hooked me up with some centering rings. All that being said I now love them, they look awesome, and after a little refurb, you can't tell between HRE except for the logo. Would I buy them again? yes, as long as they're brand new. Hope that helps

I just had iforged swifts on my TT and loved them, Plus i got good service from them.
My only problem was the lips are not clearcoated and just found out that HRE does not clearcoat the lips on their wheels either.( No HRE's for me)
Big problem for me cause everytime it would rain and the water would dry on the wheels they would leave spots, so i had to use some kinda sh$t to get it off every couple of days. I thought that was a hugh pain in the A$$
The east coast weather is to much for lips that are not clearcoated plus my car sits outside all the time......

Good guy...
A friend of mine had a set of 20" I-forged Aeros on his M3. I think they looked really good and he didnt have any problems with quality/service/wait times. He order and recieved them within a couple of weeks. They were considerably cheaper than HREs
