Wanted opinions and advice...

I have seen this vehicle in Malibu for several months. It is beautiful and the upgrades seem great. But this is coming from my virgin eye. I was wondering if any so cal guys know whose car this is? Good upgrades? Any opinions on the vehicle would help. He also says always garaged. I have seen this thing out in the salt air for quite a while now. Sun, salt, no garage... Problem?? Thanks in advance!!

I would imagine it would be a fairly biased opinion, right?? Also in one of the receipts it says "drop link front sway bar... bent. Whats that about?

Hi Justin,
I have seen this car too, I followed him a couple months ago in my pickup down Encinal, I was suprized how mellow he was driving. With all the options, I would think he would have more hp than 444hp as he list's. If the first number has an 8 in it, I think you'd have a deal. Good luck...nice looking car.

I have checked it inside and out and it is beautiful. But I am so new to TT shopping that I am a bit nervous to get a lemon..

they might be biased if you ask about the mods, but I'd think you'd get a fairly straight answer regarding the mechanical and cosmetic condition of the car. They have nothing to gain/lose by being completely honest. Plus they have a fairly good reputation around here.

but anyway, the car looks really good and has some very tasteful mods from what I can see.

I was shocked that a car of this caliber would be sitting outside in some parking lot just soaking in the salt...For months now..

It's got all the right parts....

Those rims and the Mine are the best looking IMO on a TT.

What Kayman said.... and pull the trigger

The reason it might be sitting is because most buyers are hesitant to purchase a car that's been modded. Especially in the case of a 2005 model... you are paying more for a newer car that's still under the original factory warranty, yet it's quite possible that some warranty claims will be denied because of the mods.

That seems like one heck of a deal... I would have been all over that if I just didn't pickup the X50 that's sitting in my garage right now.

Wow! Gorgeous looking 996TT! Has pretty much everything I want for my TT. Inmy opinion even at $95K this car is a great deal. Pretty much you are getting all the upgrades for free. I wish that car was available before I got mine I a couple of months ago. I truly do not thing for a few weeks on the beach with salt and sun would have hurt this beauty at all. We have members driving their cars all year aroun in salt and snow which in my opinion even worse. Good Luck with your decision!

Exactly... if you plan on modding your TT that car is the way to go.

Mods are not cheap

I too have seen this car in person in Malibu. It's always at the Malibu Carwash so I know its always super clean. Looks very sweet. I would just get a PPI on it before pulling trigger. Good luck and happy hunting!
