Car garage long term should I remove the wheels?

I have a question I garage my car in Miami and I live in NY, I have the Michelling Pilot Sport Cup tires and I am wondering if while the car is garaged if I should remove the wheels and leave the car on stands to avoid flat spots on the tires.

Any storage tips would be very appreciated!!

Thank you

Depends how long. If you lift the car, keep the wheels on... just in case it falls off..

Keep the wheels, just add up to 40 lb of air to each tire.
But remember, next time you are going to drive the car, take the air up to regular tire pressure.

There are these foam/rubber things advertised in Panorama/Excellence as "tire savers" that curve to fit the tire. They may be what you need....I have never used them.

Has anyone?

I stored my M3 every winter for 6-7 months at a stretch using the over-inflated tire method and I never had any issues. At the time, I was running Toyo T1-S tires and inflated them to 42 psi.

For me, I always worried about putting the car on jack stands because I stored it in a garage that wasn't owned by me and other people were in and out of their cars when I wasn't present. I always imagined it falling and doing major damage. A possible tire replacement seemed like a safer choice for me.

Put fabric softener (sheets) all over interior, inside of front trunk, etc.

Also plug exhaust pipes with steel wool.

Mice, squirrels, etc. can ruin your car in no time.

Storage: full tank of gas with additive (I use Sea Foam)
overinflate tires
fabric softener/steel wool (some people put mouse traps under or near car)
battery tender

she will be as good as new even after 6 + months

I will second the mousetraps. I've seen more than a few turbos with rodent damage. Those chewed up wires are not always easy to find.
