The tube mitering and the welding that I have seen isn't anything to write home about.
Hopefully they've implemented better quality control checks/hired better fabricators and welders since I bought mine.

GR996tt ........... consider this your first warning , the next we be a ban.
If you want to snipe .......... take it to your other forum.I apologize to the members for taking this thread off topic.

Chad, you silly power-tripper you, that picture is of my DAS roll bar. Oops, I just bought you a clue. My bad!
My post wasn't a personal attack, just stating a simple fact about your tuner queen. It's quite telling that you took it as a personal attack. How shallow.
If you need to ban me (you're SO scary, you mod you!) because my factual posts threaten you and your silly tuner queen, then have at it Senor Viso.
The fact that there are many folks that continue to laugh at your idle chest thumping with regards to your car that has spent the last 5+ years on the lift will remain unchanged...

Rational folks would consider "Did you weld those yourself?" a snipe.
The years pass, but your hypocrisy and insecurity grow and grow.
Let me guess...
"Killer Angel" will dominate the lameass street racing scene in 2010!

If anyone cares to check the record all I did was post a pic of a DAS bar as the thread author requested. No comments at all. That pic was followed by the personal attack to my pic which contained no comments. I then posted my post making fun of GR996TT and telling him two can play that game along with warning him that if he persisted he would he banned. His following posts after he was warned, which I have let stand was the reason he was banned.
I hope this thread can now return to topic.
Something just didn't seem right about GT996TT. Forget his dislike of myself. I just couldn't understand why he was taking apart DAS, especially because he appears to know what he is doing (on paper) and claims he owns a DAS (which he now claims to have bought with glaring under cut weld defects.) This especially didn't jive that he would buy a DAS bar complete with glaring undercut welds given his apparent level of expertise.
I did a search and was surprised to hear what Mr. GR996TT had to say about DAS back in February of this year. He wasn't so kind to Porsche. You have to read the first two pages as he posts several times there. Go figure?

Wow that was fun!
DAS we have always wanted to carry. Great product and now we have it. I have personally installed the Autopower and Porsche OEM. I think this is just another GREAT alternative!
