Diverter valve connection, is right angle better?

I'm going to change out my DVs and F-hose soon. I noticed that the stock DVs have the connection pointing straight up, and that many billet DVs can be had with right angle connections. The small hose that goes to the connection has to curve at a right angle to fit the stock DV. What advantage, if any, is there to the right angle connection? Easier to install?

EDIT: The reason I ask, is that the EVOMS DVs have straight connectors and are about $30 less expensive (including shipping) than the Forge DVs with right angle connectors. Is the right angle worth $30 more?

TO me they are worth the extra $$'s. The 90 degree angle makes it a bunch easier to install IMHO.

ease of install...nothing more.

Heavychevy - Check out PorschePhd's (Stephen from Imagine Auto) forum. He has a DIY write up on DV installs.

Thanks for all the replies. I'll try to get the EVOMS with the right angle connection.

Steve's tech artricle is linked in my SAMCO hose instal.

Do the 90 degree vacuum port and you'll thank yourself... it's MUCH easier to work with.
