Higher Octane Gas In Orange County, CA

Hi All:

Three questions:

1. What octane gas should I use on my 03 TT?
2. Where can I get higher octane gas in OC?
3. Is there a benefit?

As always, you guys are awesome!

Off San Miguel in Newport Beach

There's a 76 with 100 octane. Mix 4 100 octane gallons for every 5 91 octane gallons to achieve 95 octane.

Your vehicle is very capable of running 91 octane. However, it was designed for higher octane and performs best with higher octane. You will definitely feel the extra grunt after your ECU recognizes the fuel.

California used to carry 93 octane, now 91 is the norm. Sucks for us...

Sandoval - what octane does that 76 carry? I've been there before and don't recall seeing high octane there. Their website says they do not carry 'racing gas'.

Graham's 76
2690 San Miguel Dr.
Newport Beach, CA 92660

It is right off of Bonita Canyon Drive and 73 Freeway.

100 octane costs something like $4 or $5 per gallon.

Is higher octane even more noticeable on X50's? In other words would you see a bigger difference on an X50 running high octane versus a regurlar K16? Just wondering...
