AC Doesn't work

My car's AC stopped working and I'm wondering if anyone has a similar experience? My car only has about 35k miles and was surprised when I took my car to a outdoor wedding and the AC wouldn't work

Needless to say I wasn't very happy sweating my *** off during the wedding and on the drive home

Could it be that the Freon(?) is out?

Any advice, thoughts, comments would be appreciated!

no i haven't givin that a try yet I will try that when I get home. Pardon my ignorance but is E7 the fuse for the AC, if it is will it "reset" the air conditioning unit?

Thanks

My 2005 Turbo S Cab with 9K mi had a AC problem as well. It was more like the fan than the AC actually. A very loud motorboat sound was coming from the front of the car when I hit the AC button, then immidiately my AC display below the navigation went out. I turned it off and tried again then the problem diappeared, but my AC display still does not show some of the air direction. So dealer had to order a new display which I am still waiting. Of course they could not duplicate the motorboat sound whan the tried, but on my way home from the dealer there we go again. He did say when the display arrives they will check into it in more detail though. Lets see what the problem is....

I had this issue when my ignition started to break (thanks to the dealer). My fan would turn on but the little snowflake would not appear. Even when the fan was on full blast barely any air came out.

If I turned the key slightly backwards it would come on. The car just didnt think it was turned all the way on. Weird I know. Lots of people have had ignition switches fail, you may want to try the old key trick.

Thanks, I did try pulling the fuse to see if it was blown, but the fuse is fine. I guess I'll have to wait for my appointment at the stealership to see if all it needs is a recharge or if I have a leak.

I am a bit disappointed that my car may already need a recharge or have a leak
