Air Horns

Any of you install different horns or Air Horns in your turbo? Looking for some good recommendations.

My advice would be NOT to install them. The reason being is that some people are easily offended by the horn and will say "Who's this guy in the Porsche thinks he is honking me like that? Just because he has a Porsche he thinks he can honk ME?!?!?!". And then the low-life may go and key your car in retalliation.

But if you don't think that's a concern for you, I would definitely go with Hella Air Horns. They're very good. You just need to find somewhere where there is room to mount them! =)

Hella makes them with 2 or 3 trumpets. High quality and sound great.

Super cheap too. Our shipping manager just bought a set for his R32 off of ebay. I think he said he paid $30.

Easy install.

Actually, when I"m blasting 150mph by a school zone, I want to make sure the kids can hear me coming and get out of the way. Am I thoughtful or what?

Ryan,

Go to www.griotsgarage.com and search for horn. They have two types of horns, one air one not air. I installed the Hella non air ones. They are a direct replacement for the OEM ones. At 118 db, they get attention.
