Talking 1.4 Baby!!!!!

car is simply amazing.....i am in the detroit area and this weekend is the Woodward Dream Cruise....an annual event where cars classic, old, new, sport, luxury, and the like come out to "cruise" woodward avenue its craaaazy...anyhow last night i had an opportunity to run a 911 turbo ( i dont know if it was modded or not) and i just completely walked it in 2nd gear my mouth was literaly dropped as to how easy i just ran away from him...then a viper gts got knocked out easier than the prior turbo...a couple muscle cars easily handled...but what i love is how strong and instant this programming is..really a treat.....anyone else have the gt package...id like to hear your thoughts?

$6900??? I assume that you already had Stage 4... Your looking at more than that from any other stage.

I can't agree more on the performance of the package.

I remember years ago when the Corvette design team produced the ZR1. The program manager's instructions to his staff were to produce a car that "scared him under acceleration". As a lowly PhD student, all I could do was drool. Years later when I finally drove one I was not scared... in fact I was more dissappointed than anything. It was quick, but not scary quick.

Now, to make a long story short, the EVO Stage 4Gt is the first car I've ever driven that actually scares me under acceleration. Finally I've reached automotive nirvana.

P.S. I'm not sure if the boost readings from the stock gauge are right. Perhaps flash boost reaches that level. But, I believe that the car can only maintain 1.2 bar steady state.

Yours in speed.

I'm still too scared to look at the boost gauge under heavy acceleration.

Still, from prior discussions on the various forums, from what I've gathered, the waste gate will only maintain 1.2 bar and I believe that the throttle body also shuts down above that level. My guess is that either the stock gauge registers max boost and holds that reading, or the gauge is not completely accurate. I'll ask Todd tomorrow when I'm over at EVO. (Regardless, the performance is phenominal!)
