It appears from the pre production box that the production right hand box bracket was positioned to far in causing it to be angled. So the intake looks correct in the car and does not catch on the trunk latch, do not fit the bracket on the right box to the chassis. The the boxes will then be lined straight. Unfortunately this happened and it will be corrected at no cost to buyers. Each person that bought the intake will receive a new RIGHT side box with correct bracket position and a call tag to ship the old one back.
The good news is that the intake still works and not having the right box bracket will not affect anything as it has no where to move. Even you guys in Japan and Hong Kong will have a new right box. On top of it!
I have sent an email to all buyers notifying them of this if they do not see it here.

The intake should be straight across as pictured here -

guys... dont worry about the return. I will just make sure to get you a new one. It might be cheaper to just throw those away since you are out of the country. Either way, run the intake, everything is fine and works good!
Just ordered mine Dan, but they said you wouldnt have them till possibly Wed....WWWHHHHHHHYYYYY
Its ok, I guess I can wait but make sure I get my silver one with all the right parts

shoot me an email to dan@vividracing.com with your first and last name so I can look up the order.
the 3rd grade drawing is awesome!
I think on one of the earlier pages we went through and showed the testing with thermal couplers using this and then the stock box. There was no difference. Could you cap it, sure, do you need to, no. After SEMA I am going to try to dive into that left hand air inlet or maybe a carbon box. Stay tuned
