what server specs are you guys using? and under what connection and what switch?
I ran my old gameservers under cisco switch and dual AMD athlon mp processors and they worked well. Cisco did the job

You might want to put an autoforward on the old server pointing to the new server, as there are still some folks posting to the old board because the DNS info hasn't yet completely propagated.
Also, you might want to set the time on the new server; it's off by over 7 hours. While logged in as root, try the command:
ntpdate -s tick.gpsclock.com
