Great run John. AS your goal is to get into the 10's, you should be able to do this with better traction, PSM off, with the current boost - I would think.

I'm using the 245-18 & 335-18 RA1s (R-Compound). Does anyone know if going wider would get better traction? They stick like crazy for me.

Thanks, Zippy...with a few adjustments and a better launch, I think it will happen, too. I guess I will have to force myself to go back and try again later this year. Man, the agony of pursuing a 10 second pass .

Just think about what Marek felt like when trying to break into the 9s

9's has got to be very tough - at least I have a decent chance and we know it can be done. Mark was exploring unchartered waters for the 996TT.

2bscrewed is infamous around these parts
Nice times! I'm convinced that the clocks hesitate an extra .1 for the bottom of every second! I have run more 12.0 and 11.0's in my veicles than any other times.
As a matter of fact when I was trying to break into the 10's with the Cobra I pulled a 1.65 60' and trapped 132, and still ran 11.02!
You'll get it soon, especially if you switch to a drag radial with some side wall flexing. Your road race tires probably didn't help much.
