First, thanks for inviting me along today. I had a great time - even though I had the slowest car of the bunch. I was grinning from ear to ear for hours afterwards. I am bummed that I was unable to run at the dragstrip - but there will be another day. But who can complain when they get to run down the highway with two S/C'd Vipers and kick-*** Porsche.

 

Marty, what a bummer to have the EBC go bad at the worst possible time. Hopefully you are going to make a return to the track in the future and let us know how those 650+ RWHP perform. With that type of power you should be able to eclipse Scott's old time for sure . We have all had our bad days at the track.Heck, I had my VarioCam fail as I drove thru the gates at the track and never did get to try my race gas file on the old setup. Let us know how it goes in the future....

 

I don't know, Kevin. I think they put something special in the water where Scott lives ...he's very tough to beat.

 

11.6 is really impressive @ .8 bar boost with a stock motor.

Atomic Z: I had a blast doing some highway pulls with you on the way there
(or with someone that looked just like you--LOL). I really like the Z06 you have.
S-351: your ears must have been burning as they were talking about your
"highway roll" against the Maxda RX7 with Chev small blk/NOS.
I will give drag racing another shot and "see what happens"
I drove car on a date last night with the numbers on the windshield
(I know, moron points), but I could not resist.
