Dyno charts don't mean anything...take it to the track!

RIGHT! I would *not* want 900RWHP as a daily driver. Most of the cars here aren't 900RWHP as it is.... the idea is that the dyno charts would normally show the car on its HIGHEST boost setting, with 114 octane in the tank... The objective here is to take a car, build it with the ABILITY to do severe damage on the street, and run it on LOW BOOST in order to make the car last with the ABILITY to turn the fueling up and the boost up, put race gas in the car, and kill everything in sight when called upon to do so. I think that that's the idea. The beauty of turbocharging is that you can do just that, with rare exception. The thought of doing more displacement, in my view, was that I would perhaps be able to make more HP and TQ with less total PSI in the motor, which perhaps would lend itself to engine-longevity. That would be my personal goal. That goal would be to build it superstrong, and then turn the boost down dramatically in order to preserve the monster within. I'd love thoughts on this general concept.

I went 3.8liter as well because I was so used to the lagless feature of the gt700 kit that I wanted more TQ down low so I can spool quicker with larger turbos. Plus the added HP gain of course. (40 whp I beleive, right sharky)

OH SNAP!!! The hens are a cluckin'!!!
Speed, even on low boost you will not have a dd car. First, it will cost around 90 K in upgrades to get to the 800 plus rwhp level.
You will have a car w/ a racing clutch and drag radials or R-compound tires. A dd must be drivable in the rain and there is no tire that will handle 800 rwhp and rain. Even on low boost you will have a handfull.
Even on low boost (580 to the rw) my humble little car (a big step down from a 3.8 w/ GT35's) car requires full attention, usually a tough thing when I am rolling out of the house in the morning, have my wife, newborn, investments, lecture, boss, mortgage, etc on my mind.
That is why I dd my G35 or if I really want to be lazy the CTT.

Rob to settle all of the nay-sayers I'm sure I could convince my brother (he doesn't like driving other's cars) to drive your car down the 1/4 if its ok with you and Akram. He's one of the best drivers I know with a 6spd as you can see with his Vette. I'm sure your car will be everybit capable of seeing a 9second pass. Who knows it could beat the current record. You never know.
Something to keep in mind. It's not hard to make power with a stroker motor and GT35's. It's not like he is using some no name tuner, considering Todd has built some (stressing some) of the highest HP TT's around. If you don't think A + B = Power then you my friend are an idiot. Even if they have had some set backs it's going make to make power regardless. It's simple math.
I think when Rob is ready to post official #s I think he will.
