Exclamation Wheel Help!!!

Just recently purschased a set of BBS Motorsport wheels with shaved Toyo RA-1's. In the front, the rims came with 245/40 profile tires (25.6 diameter) and in the rear they came with 305/35 profile tires (26.3 diameter). Does anyone know if these tire diameters are safe to drive on? Or am i going to fry the viscous? Please advice!!!

that's too much of a difference and just wrong.... The sizes you want are 335/30 and 245/40. Don't run those rears.

Colby, I don't know exact size of rear wheel (inches) I know for example I run 245 Toyo's on the fronts which is normally a 235, but if you are far out, DO NOT TAKE THEM ON TRACK, you might want to find a railway line instead!

Martin, I'm not sure how you read my last post, but there was no animosity intended. If it came off that way i apologize. I completely understand, and really there was no way for either of us to know. Again i apologize if my last post came off wrong.

also colby, you need to roll the fenders, massages the fender liners, possibly push back the intercooler brackets and so forth to fit that size. I think you saw the black one here with that exact set up. It took a good while and alingment tinkering to get it to where rubbing wasn't an issue.

Hm... Sounds like a little too much work. I think i'll just try and take the OEM's of my stocker and use them for now. Thanks Shark!

Did you get 12 inchers? I think you did? If so get a street tire like a PS2 in GT2 size 235s and 315s. They fit nicely

I know that with all the suspension stuff you have and did a good alignment guy could certainly make it work.

Yah i heard that if you're off by more than .4 of an inch than you can easily fry the viscous coupling, which is a BIG no no!

Yah, the BBS motorsports are 12's in the rear, but for now I just have to make the OEM Conti's in 295 work... but the guy from Conti said they would fit a 12" wheel, and i'm sure the 225 up front can fit the 8.5. Shark can you order me a set of PS2's? Can you pm me pricing if you can. Thanks!
