If you currently own a recent Porsche 911 (all models 1999-2004) and you've been depressed with the resale value of the car, you ain't seen nothing yet!The cars have been hit hard on the wholesale ...

Not sure what we are supposed to be looking for on that site -- it seems like a lot of worthless bull**** written by folks with no clue .... do you work for them? Is this some form of advertisement?

In regards to resale prices -- they are around where they have always been. If you buy your car thinking it is an investment, you are a fool.

Don't pay any attention to that CRAP.
Always retail your own car.

Auto spies seems to have gone downhill when they changed their site.

I emailed them regarding some fake editorial on their site regarding getting POrsches for 'auction' prices when in fact the prices were more like retail.

I never got a response.

Too bad. they had potential. now it is just advertising bs for the most part.

Who cares about resale anyway. I can't think of an investment that is more fun! Even if it is guaranteed to drop in value.

What is interesting on the same site if you check the Phillips Auto spot a Porsche Turbo is titled a "Prized Gem" and even leeds the list....Phillips has a 97 TT (993) for 105k ....not too bad considering it was replaced by the 996 Turbo!

I bought a TT Cab and if I sell it will take a bath -- Thats life -- IN fact, when the 2005 TT Cab comes out as an "S" version with the X50 standard as is rumored, I will get hit.

As someone noted above, if you buy a NEWS car for investment, you are a fool.

Now, as for my 1967 GT-500 that I have had for 15 years....................
