How much do you weigh?

Without being obnoxious, I'm talking about your cars

At the track I came in at 3460 pounds with 1/3 tank of gas, a cage. This was without me

Specifics on my '02 Turbo...

6-speed
Sunroof delete
Power lumbars both seats
CD player

I'd say 3450-3500 pounds wet is about average for the 6-speed with light options.

Sounds like mine should be heavier... Mine is a tip, with a roll bar, power everything etc... I have lost a bit of weight with my straight pipes.

What kind of scales did you use? I weighed my car on four pad racing scales accurate to .025%.

The 10 gallons or so of gas missing when you weighed the car accounts for ~60 lbs. That'd put you at ~3520 lbs with a full tank of gas.

Racing scales (four pad) at the track. I wouldn't mind shedding a few pounds to be honest...

Chris Y. is infamous around these parts
watt's got the GT2...I guess removing the sound deadning material, back seat, etc all helps.

With that said, anyone know how to remove those back seats

Actually it's really easy. I did it a while back... there's only a couple of bolts here and there to remove. I'll try find the instructions for you but it really only takes about 15minutes.
