03' 996TT Performance Upgrades...
Hey guys, I am posting this for my bro. We are looking at doing some simple, yet effective upgrades and are looking for opinions. What is the best route to go? Software, exhaust, airboxes? Other way around? Something different? Any help would be great...
Depends on what the car will be used for and how much you're willing to spend.
Speed Gallery for the win!
No No...Stay away for EVOMS...Especially their air boxes. Speed Gallery all the way. Very fairly priced, great customer service. I have never had anything but the run around over at evoms. Do a search for mass air meter problems and evoms. They are very over priced too. Just my opinion..And I have had both a Evoms car and a SG650.

Thats odd that you say that. Everything I've ever read or heard about EVOMS has been nothing but good. I'll look into both, though.
Well...If you buy their air box...Keep several mass air meters on hand! Talk to Sam or Nick at speed gallery...SUPER nice guys. They bend over backwards to help, and again ill say. VERY FAIRLY PRICED. Unlike the evoms products. Grossly over priced and they barely gave me the time of day on the phone.

Spend your first grand on trackdays...at least the first grand...and then you'll look at the car from different eyes. You may suddenly find yourself thinking about, oh yeah I'm going there, suspension. Sway bars, alignment, ect... you never know.
After a few track days the car will have told you (or whispered if you're not fluent in it's native tongue) what it wants. Most people go straight for engine mods even when they've not the skillto use what's already there.
Good luck,

Best money you can spend, and the mod that will follow you into every vehicle you ever drive is a HPDE event and/or autocrossing.

That is just one persons opinion, lots of very happy Evoms customers. Only you can decide which tuner is right.
Seriously I would actually talk to the tuners: Kevin @ Ultimate Motorwerks, Stephen at Imagine Auto, Todd @ Protomotive, Todd @ EVOMs, FVD, AWE...after talking to them decide which you want to do business with. Any of them are more than capable of making you happy.
