Need one final advise before pulling the trigger..please

So, this will very likely be the perfect one that I have been looking around for. Here is the deal, the car is 2003 with 21k miles, SG 550 power kit, no CPO, no NAV but has full leather and supple leather.

The dealer wants 70k for the car with the BBS whell or 69k with stock wheels. Personally, I am not a big fan of these BBS wheels ( can anyone identify what model they are ? ) and because the car will be 70k with BBS or 69K with stock turbo wheels. What would you pick between the two?

Please help in deciding. Thanks.

Ken

Take it with the BBS. Great deal for only a $ 1,000 more.

Look like BBS RS-GT, sell on tirerack for $730/$842 in 18 inch (F/R), $986/$1235 in 19 inch. But I'm not sure. Stock wheels would be 18 inch. Do you know if these are 19s.
Nice car.

Ken,

i would have to agree with the crowd on this one, and get the BBS wheels.

I would also suggest you pursche a 3-rd party warranty for the car.

Looks like 18"

Yes, those are 18s. I will definitely look into 3rd party warranty when it lands in Canada but because it has aftermarket turbo kit, I don't know if they will allow me to buy warranty or not.

I'm sure they will let you buy one, whether they will honor it if the engine or turbos or other drivetrain component goes is another question.

Ken, take the car with the BBS and if you don't like them you can sell them and get what you want.. $1,000.00 is a pretty inexpensive differential...

Here's how you do it....."you know......Iam having a hard time pulling the trigger on this.....tell you what.....throw in the wheels for 69K and I will take it"

Now....when they say no.....you tell them, " OK, Here's my number....call me if you change your mind" and then you LEAVE. If they don't call you the next day.....you can go back and buy it.....but they almost always do....

sounds like the perfect car. you owe it to yourself to spend 5% more (+/-) for what you want. if this is really it, remember that the new clutch wil be $5K, other stuff will run $5K. just remember that this is the beginning of many misc. nigglng expenses. if the $1K bugs you, wait for the 30K mile service... LOVE speed yellow... hope you buy the car!
