2nd gear issue (NOT the popup issue)

I have a new tranny, and a new clutch.

Since the new clutch was put in, i feel like im learning to drive all over again. going into 2nd gear is all fine untill you let the clutch out. Hard to explain, but no matter what rpm's when i let the clutch out, its not smooth AT ALL. Feels jerky.

Any ideas? Kind of embarrassing and the car is NOT pleasnt to drive anymore in the city.

Was a breeze to drive before the new clutch went in (before it started slipping)

It just seems like you need to get used to the release point of the clutch since you changed it. Its probably just 2nd gear since the higher gears have a smoother shift usually. Try driving it more and see if it gets any better. Sometimes it may take a few weeks to get used to a new clutch depending on the driver.

What kind of clutch did you get? Do you still have the OEM flywheel?

It should feel like it did before. You should take it back to the shop that replaced it, probably needs to be rebled or something.
