I finally am ready to load some pictures of the red 996TT rollcage. We work with a local race chassis fabricator (Chassis Service). Together we've designed and built custom rollbars and full cages, both removable and weld-in. Here are three photos (more available) of a red-painted, removable cage w/adjustable seat back brace, camera mount, fire extinguisher mount and harness bar. It was originally around (there was other paintwork on 4 GT3 seats and another bar) $3200 painted, and installed, including the chrome-moly tubing. This is really worth looking at if you are in the Chicago area, want a club-race-legal cage that's removeable AND you have a red car!

BTW the 'rumor' of a rear brake duct was just a matter of getting $$ estimates on the factory rear air scoops. I'll have them soon.

Side bars are removable or the whole front section is removable. Here is a closeup of a connecting point.. Is your car red ColorChange?

 

Sol, no seal gray. I am think of having you, make a custom bar for me.

 

I suppose it would be easier to paint this cage grey than to make it fit the Countach!
