Hey guys. Here are the rest of the pictures and information that I got from Joe including price. The scoops will be ready to ship next week. Initial price is set at $350 plus shipping. Once I have validation numbers, Joe will price them at $650 for the pair. I will have my set next week and will try to get to the track as soon as possible to do testing. I have my fingers crossed that weather permitting I can do it within the next month or so.

Just bought my set $385- shipped to Australia.

I think the benefit these are going to provide is obvious without needing to see the logs.

How many do you need for the first run? I'm pretty interested but would love to see some numbers.

 

Any shots of it further out to see how it looks with the whole car?

 

Based on what Manthey wanted for their little scoops (about $1300), I told Joe that $650 would be a realistic price for these once the numbers are validated. Since it may take or month or so (weather permitting) for me to get to the track and do some logging, Joe decided to reward the people who want to take the gamble on these at $350 prior to the numbers being validated. With that said, I have full confidence that we will see and improvement on these. People however have to decide if they want to roll the dice and save $300 or wait till later and pay $650.

 

I don't have a requirement for first run. It will be an ongoing part for me. What I would like to see is to get close to breaking even on my investment in making the tooling. That number is around 25 at the lower price.

 

A full shot from the car would be perfect, n1 work!

 

I do have a car lined up to take more pictures of the production pieces and will do the whole car. Problem is it has to stop raining in beautiful Vancouver.

 

Could probably do a better overlay with the 997 once you get your beta or alpha set Mr. Pwdrhound.

So does this replace the factory scoop or stick on over it?

 

Stick on which is going to be interesting but for 500 Aussie with the benefits these should provide, what's to lose?

I dare say I will be removing the original and screwing and epoxy glueing them on to them.
