Improved intercooler inlet duct project to lower IATs
Received mine, very happy with overall look and finish of the product, my only concern is how to fix. I feel any type of sticky pad will fly off above 200mph, I thought about riveting from the inside so it wouldn't be visible? Any suggestions???
I would remove the oem inlets and rivet the ducts on from the inside if you want piece of mind. Use small aluminum rivets.
In case anyone has missed it here is a new thread on some initial testing on the intake scoops.
Thank you John.

Here is an interesting article on the effects of air temps and power on a turbocharged motor. Although it's not a Porsche the effects should be similar.
For those still wanting scoops please contact me before the price goes up in January. As you can see from JD's preliminary testing they are doing what they're supposed.
Thanks, Joe

Heres a mail from my mapper
I need you to run the newer map that I sent you too, the car is still putting out knock signal on cyl4 and I want to see if the changes I made in that config are going to work. I've re-attached it and would appreciate if you can run that file, run it in high and low boost and send me the logs and I'll merge the data into one file that we can screen shot.
Temps wise, it's looking like you're 10 degrees cooler when on it - the air temp still shows 32degree when cruising but that's more due to engine bay temp than air charge temp.
Logs look better though, fueling at WOT is spot on - it's running 1/2% pull on bank1 but pulling 10% out of bank 2 at full throttle still but the final lambda numbers look a lot better and no drop in fuel pressure which is great to see.
When you're on the throttle the temps climb a lot slower with the new ducts.
New map attached.
Like he says its not just the fact that they actually run cooler its that they take longer to heat up and I see them cool way quicker, so you spend more time at less temp.

Do you have any other CF parts on the car? If not I would suggest paint to match. They would look out of place as the only bits of CF on the car.
If/when anyone has an install on a lighter color car....silver?.....or at least not black, please share when you can.....also a profile shot sighting down the side of the car.....rear to front, front to rear would be nice.
Also......they are on EBay?......where is the link?
Thanks in advance.

Joe, did pictures of these scoops on a blue car ever happen?
I got a carbon fiber one coming in for a cobalt blue...
I can test fit it on a lapis one before i install it though
