Pretty much the same. Currently I have Revo. Used to have GIAC. Upsolute is also good but less $$. My friend TT has Upsolute and he loves it. He saids no noticeable different between top brand (GIAC) and Upsolute except a lots less $$$.

Where are you seing $700? Looking at http://www.upsolute.com/eng/preise.html it indicates $300.. Am I missing something? If so AND if their HP/TQ (+25HP, +22 TQ) increases are real that is a great deal.

Vivid Racing is the retailer for Upsolute in the West Coast. $700 is the price. I don't know about mailing the ECU to the company itself. You can contact them for clarification.

What kind of performance gains are you seeing? I really hesitate to mod but I modded my Audi and loved the results...

Sorry, no seat in the pants for 996 NA. 10-15HP is max. HP gains is more evidence on TT. You get more responsive throttle and smoother rev. than stock. Exhaust mod. is more for sound than anything else. For NA you need to SC to get big gains and performance of stock TT. And that is 12K+ installed.
