Issues with my car...

After driving home from work, I let my car sit for about an hour. The engine is still warm. The car start, but would idle at 1500 rpm then just drop and die. What could be the problem. This has been happening for the past few days. Car starts up just fine when the engine is cold, but when the engine is still warm, it dies after about 3 seconds of idling at 1500 rpms.

Anyone experienced this before? I just had my car serviced for 45k last week.

Had a loose battery cable that did the same thing once.

Also, check your alternator. May not hold charge and generate electricity to power the car. Go to a local AutoZone, they have the tester for both the battery and alternator.

Great suggestion guys. Thank you very much.

Brought my car back to Hergesheimer MotorSports to see what could possibly be the problem. Turns out it was my MAF. Got it replaced and car feels great.
