Whats the cheapest 996 you have seen?

Without damage of course. My friend claims he saw one in the high 20's
I was thinking of picking up a decent condition one for a daily.

Dammmnn! Thats hella cheap, even with the mileage. I guess the 996's dont hold water when it comes to resale.

I've seen quite a few first generation (1999 usually, some 2000 and 2001) in the high 20s with not a lot of miles on them. I've seen a bunch of '99s with decent mileage for low to mid 20s. Look on www.cars.com.

You can usually find 1999-2000 higher mileage 996's for the mid to lower 20's on E-Bay as well. Most of them had good maint. records as well. That 996 for 22K is really inexpensive.

Wow thats FN depressing! Thats an example of people that know nothing about these cars and get scared of the miles. I still think a high mileage 99 should be worth $25 and up. Depending on the buyer you can get that too. It's a shame but good news if your looking to get into one : ) You can buy mine but I love it too much I would need $27K : )

After 5 years, should be about 35k, after 9 years with almost 100k, 21.9k is cheap, but not crazy, especially if it only looks good from 10 feet away or on a digital picture(I've seen plenty of those...)

Now a reasonably equipped(common options) 99 with the same mileage should be 25-30k depending on condition.
