I personally bought mine from the dealer. A little more expensive but are slightly tinted and look smooth without the horizontal ribbing in them.

I have the Porsche Euro versions that are slightly smoked. I picked them to match the rear lights on my 2004 996 which are also slightly smoked.

Get ones from HELLA (OEM) they can be found at a number of places. I believe there are two types of OEM. There is the smoked and the clear. I personally prefer the smoked. I bought mine from BumperPlugs.com.

The units we carry are ALWAYS OEM Porsche Germany. No knock offs. Factory parts w/factory part numbers, in case anyone needs to know.

Also, the super clear ones look cheap. I saw a 996 today with them. They don't look as good as factory.
