Talking Do you miss affordable Alcantara?

It's been widely talked about how Porsche has nearly tripled the cost of their Alcantara steering wheels the past couple months. They now retail for $853 (our current dealer cost is $682!!).

But, we have a little treat for those that may be interested.

We have a very limited quantity of 996/986/993 Alcantara steering wheels, 3-spoke with blue stitching for $549 + free ship CONUS to the 6speed members.

These are brand new factory steering wheels from Porsche, not returned or refurbished. Again, this is 3-spoke, blue stitching. So if you have a 4 spoke, you'll need a new airbag.

We also have the matching alcantara/blue-stiching shift ***** in stock which are on sale for $149!

So if you are interested, throw me a PM, email, or a phone call.

Thanks! You can register your car for PitP by contacting Margharita Longpre and make sure to get your wristband after entering the circle. Car placement will be more or less first come first serve.

This wheel is for the triangular airbag, the only alcantara airbag offered by Porsche is the round sport wheel. But this will work with the standard leather or leatherette airbags.

Got them with Red stiching?
The red stitched ones are from the newer GT3, and we do have them in stock. The price on those is $829.95.

They do fit a 996TT fine. They aren't too hard to install, but not as easy as, say, switching out a shift ****. You should know what you're doing when working with the airbag, but that's the hardest/most dangerous part. I usually recommend taking it to a dealer just to be safe.

Do You Have Any Air Bags As Well?
We do have the airbags. Most folks get the black airbags, which are $549.95.
