996 rims and tires...

I'm looking for a nice 19'' 10 spoke. So far my favorites are the G-racing Kobe's in silver. My question is, what should I be looking for tire size wise? front and rear. Here is a picutre of the rims in chrome by the way...

a very youthful choice. looks like a one piece casted wheel, must weigh alot. not recommended for a porsche, let alone having the right offsets and wheel sizes. i would try a more quality wheel, particularily forged. there are some nice and well priced ones on the market. if budget plays a factor try the I-Forged. the best 10 spoke i have seen is on Henry's car "1317 wholesale". look as his wheels they are hot....

You are not gonna get a high five for having blinged out rims here, unless they are HREs. All the fellas here are more about the performance aspect of the Porsche rather than how "balla" it is. THose rims are too ghetto fabb for a porsche. Go with something more subtle.

They are 'pretty' .

Not to throw water on your parade......but are you sure you want chrome wheels on a 911?

G-Racing.....never heard of them, but these are 3 piece?.....I assume you can specify width & offset?...obviously width will have alot to do with the tire size you select.

i must interject; the wheels are definately on the "bling" side, but so are many HRE's, and HRE's come super polished/chromed as well.

i think some of you are being a bit harsh, they're not the worse looking wheels in the world. he did ask for our opinion, so we're entitled to answer how we see fit, but i don't think they're as terribly bad as some are making them out to be. i personally don't care for them, but i don't care for a lot of HRE's either.

cheers )

Yayaya Eric......

By the way, That wheel is not way to go. Try Iforged which is cheaper than HRE looks not bad OR try SSR GTS

Good luck ...
