Plenum installed from group buy!

I just drove my car after the install and what a difference this makes. My car revs quicker and it feels much less restricted. You can definately feel the power difference. Thanks for all who did the group buy for the great price. I would recommend this mod for all! Post here after you installed yours and let me know what you think.

Thanks

Mike

Hey Mike, what model/yr car do you have and is it stock? I am deciding to get them before the Jan31 price increase but would like to hear feedback from a stock perspective and see if its as noticeable as someone with more mods. Thanks.

I have a stock 2000 C2 with Tiptronic. Got in on the group buy and I had it installed on Monday and I could tell the difference right away. It revs quicker and eliminated the low rpm stumble when shifting when I took off from a stop sign. You can really feel the difference above 3,000 rpm. Even my mechanic told me that he could feel the difference and said that it would be better if I installed a cold air intake system.
Thanks again to RPM for doing the group buy. Hopefully you can offer it again for others to take advantage of this product.

I have a 01 C4 which is stock except for the Plenum. I am picking up the evo cold air intake this weekend and eventually a SC.

Thumbs up Resistance is futile, you will be assimilated

The RSS Plenum was a very effective mod for me. In the last 9 months it has greatly enhanced my Porsche driving experience in every way. Like DeputyDog has said, "it is something that Porsche should have designed themselves". Furthermore, I'll go on record and say that if you have the means, it should be in your top 5 mandatory tweaks. There are dozens of threads of praise on this in the last year including some member dynos posted sometime last summer.

Here is DeputyDog's dyno from last March2007:

Guys I saw a pic of the installation. Is the Plenum to take the place of the Throttle Body? I got a little confused haha.

No, your throttle body attaches to the Plenum. You have a stock porsche plenum, but this one allows more air in thus giving more HP and Torque.

Anyone else besides DeputyDog have this with a supercharger, preferably on a 3.4?

yep, 3.4 here, its a smooth constant push all the way to redline.... Its hard to explain, but you dont feel like your going fast, but when you look down, your deep in the 3 digits

Thanks Redridge, you did the plenum after the SC right? Could you tell the deference. I have been considering this but I'm not sure if I will notice with the SC.

Mike, sorry about getting off the subject on your thread, but I know you are looking at the supercharger also so I thought this might interest you.
