I don't know about anyone but me (and apparnetly you), but I have thought that would be an interesting way to go. I guess hey make them with rubber bqacking now so the crud does not go allt he way through to the carpet under?

jnx, I found them on ebay. They advertise gold crests, but I talked them into doing silver.

TechArt does indeed make very high quality mats from all that I have seen. Did you get a deviating color binding?
