looking to change mine to yellow. tried doing it myself and it came out like hell. i've done it before and it looked great. oh well. is there a company that sells them already done in exchange for your core set? I'm trying to minimize down time.

There are people that do it but it is fairlt expensive. if you want to get it done locally, I would call as fee body shops and ask who does it. A better bet would be to call a few of the hot rod / custom shops .. they seem to paint everything.

here is an alternative that worked great for me.

I'm gonna speculate that you want red calipers. If that is the case, then simply purchase a set of Boxster S calipers (they actually 996 calipers, only in red) from your local Porsche parts counter. They should be about $325 each, then swap them out for your black calipers, clean up the black ones, and put them on eBay. You should be able to get $200-$250 each for them. The net difference is about what you will spend to get a quality respray of your black ones.

This method will end up costing you about the same as a respray.

Thanks everybody. Actually, I had to be different. I want yellow ones. I've got the bumble bee theme going on with my car. Well, got tired of hacking this caliper project. Got a hold of Sandoval. Ordered a set of safety yellow calipers. I'll post pics when they come in. Can't wait to get this thing together. Too many mods at once...wheels, suspension, exhaust, and calipers. I'm out of control. I blew my mod budget for three years at once.
